Sam Farquhar - General Manager
With two decades of experience in the community sector, including roles in central and local government, Sam brings a strong background in Community Development. She is passionate about building sustainable relationships, strengthening organisational structures, and empowering teams—including volunteers—to create lasting impact.
Sam has extensive first-hand experience with funding and has a proven track record as an empathetic and effective leader. She has had the privilege of working with incredible charities such as Plunket and remains actively involved in volunteering, supporting various groups in her neighbourhood.
Raised by her grandparents in Northland during her early primary years, Sam feels a deep connection to the mission of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and is excited to step into the role of General Manager.
