Nga Ngatae Heather – Hastings
I am Nga, a Cook Island Maori born in Hastings. I love spending time with my thirteen moko’s and four mokomoko. I have raised five of my moko and have lived through the challenges that drugs can bring to a whānau.
My work experience is diverse, ranging from working on the freezing works floor to caregiving for the elderly. I have also held roles as a Health and Safety Officer and Union Delegate. I am passionate about helping and supporting other grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.
