Jeanette Hinton – New Plymouth
I have been very much involved in the care of my granddaughter and bring a background in early childhood education and experience as a teacher's aide to my role as New Plymouth Support Group Coordinator. I am passionate about the value of support groups, where grandparents can share knowledge and wisdom to support each other. In supporting the progress of my granddaughter, I have been proactive in seeking out relevant resources and support. I am confident that I can use this knowledge and skill to advocate for grandparents who need additional input to get the assistance they need.
